How To Crimp and Use Pin Connectors / Replacing Old Wire Pins | Sanooer Autoparts

Based on the feedback we’ve received, a few customers have reached out with questions about connecting the exposed wires on Sanooer’s wiring harness to the connector pins. 

Today, we’ll walk you through the process and clear things up! If you’re interested, let’s go!

Tools For Installation🔧: 

  · 8 Inch Wire Stripper Wire Crimping Tool

  · Electrical Tape

  · Connector Terminal Pins Kit

  · Sanooer Harness (Without pin connectors)

Step 1: Use the wire stripper to strip the end of the harness.

Step 2: Twist the exposed wire ends together to make it easier to securely connect them to the connector pins in the next step.

Step 3: Take a new terminal pin and align it with the twisted wire from step 2. Then bend the center tab over the wire, make sure it sits flat and smooth.

In the same way, then bend the two tabs on the back, fold down over the copper line as well

Step 4: Use a little bit of electrical tape at the end there (Or some heat shrink as well)Do a nice little tug and make sure the terminals on there are tight.
