This post is designed for beginners and to replace the bottom shell of towing mirrors!
Note: Be sure to wear gloves before removing the mirror glass, safety comes first!
Step 1: Remove the upper mirror and lower mirror, and disconnect the plug at to the back of the upper mirror.

Step 2: Pull the extension arm out. Then remove the four screws and take off the exterior housing.
Step 3: Remove the two screws that hold down the backlight

Step 4: Unplug the backlight wiring harness and remove it.
Step 5: Then install the new one. And tighten the two screws that secure the backlight.
Step 6: Plug in all the harness, and test the light and make sure it works.
Step 7: Reinstall all removed screws, the wiring harness, exterior housing and the glasses.
